These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the web portal Izy Portal (the “Service”), provided by Izy AS, registration number 922 177 775 (“Izy”, “us”, “we” or “our”). Further information about the Service is available here.
Depending on which offerings are used through the Service, the terms and the processing of personal data may vary. Where the terms for a specific offering deviate from these Terms, this shall be indicated separately in connection with the relevant offering. The privacy notice is available here.
By accessing or using the Service, you accept these Terms.
The Service is a tool for communication, administration and services in modern buildings and workplaces. Through the Service, the user may, in connection with the building in which the user is present, receive information about the building and its facilities, receive offers of goods and services, and place orders and make purchases from providers in the building and other affiliated providers. Izy is not itself a party to agreements entered into when the user places an order or makes a purchase and shall not be liable for the fulfilment of such agreements.
Purchases through the Service are, as a general rule, invoiced to the undertaking to which you are affiliated. You may be asked to provide information necessary to complete the purchase, including information identifying you as an employee or affiliated user, as well as any delivery or reference details.
For certain offerings, purchases may be completed by direct payment from you as a user. In such cases, you may be asked to provide payment information, including credit card number, card expiry date, billing address and delivery information. Such information shall only be shared with third parties, including payment service providers and relevant suppliers, to the extent necessary to complete the purchase.
Where a specific offering entails that you become personally liable for payment to the provider, this shall be indicated separately in connection with the relevant offering.
Izy continuously updates the range of products and services made available through the Service. Products and services offered through the Service may be incorrectly priced, incorrectly described or unavailable, and there may be delays in the updating of information made available through the Service. Izy does not independently verify information provided through the Service by third parties, including suppliers, property managers and building owners. Izy does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of such information, including prices, product images, specifications, availability and service offerings. Izy reserves the right at any time, and without prior notice, to amend or update information and to correct errors, inaccuracies or omissions.
Izy may have received your full name, email address and other necessary information from your employer in order to create you as a user. This occurs where your employer wishes you to use the Service, for example for payment of canteen meals or access to building-related information. If you do not activate the user account, the information shall be deleted and not used for any other purpose.
The user may freely choose which offerings to use through the Service. Certain employers may require that payment for canteen meals is made through the Service, in which case this functionality cannot be opted out of.
Where an employer has negotiated discounted rates in the canteen for its employees, such rates may only be used by approved registered users who receive a canteen subsidy from the employer. When creating a user account, you are obliged to provide correct and up-to-date information. If you are registered as an employee of an employer in the building, it may be necessary for Izy to contact you. To ensure that the user account is linked to the correct person, and to prevent infringement of the rights of others, you shall use the email address provided by your employer both when registering a user account and when contacting Izy. You are responsible for safeguarding the password used to access the Service, and for all activity and actions carried out using the password. The password shall not be disclosed to any third party. You are obliged to notify Izy immediately if you become aware of any security breach or unauthorised use of your account.
Izy endeavours to maintain a safe and secure service environment for all users. However, Izy cannot guarantee complete security. The user bears an independent responsibility to contribute to the security of the Service. When using the Service, the user undertakes at all times to comply with these Terms, including any other guidelines made available by Izy to safeguard the security of the Service. In the event of non-compliance with these Terms or other security-related guidelines, Izy reserves the right to remove offensive or improper content, terminate or restrict access to the user account, and to notify third parties, including law enforcement authorities, and to disclose information relating to the account where Izy considers this necessary. Such measures may be necessary to protect the safety of users and others, to investigate, remedy and enforce possible breaches of the Terms, and to detect and address matters relating to fraud or security.
In the event of harmful activity, or other activity that deviates from normal use, Izy shall be notified without undue delay.
The Service, including its original content, features and functionality, is and shall remain the exclusive property of Izy, its licensors or other collaborating third parties. The Service and content provided through the Service are protected by copyright, trademark rights and other intellectual property laws in Norway and abroad. The trademarks, distinctive signs and other intellectual property rights of Izy, its licensors and collaborating third parties may not be used in connection with any products or services without the prior written consent of Izy.
The Service may contain links to websites, applications or services offered by third parties that are not owned or controlled by Izy. Izy has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy notices or practices of any such third-party websites or services. The user is encouraged to review the applicable terms and privacy notices of any third-party websites and services used.
In order for Izy to provide the Service and associated functionality, it is necessary to process certain personal data relating to the users of the Service. In certain circumstances, Izy acts as a data processor on behalf of employers, building owners and others who wish to make the Service available to users, as well as undertakings that offer products and services through the Service. In such cases, data processing agreements are entered into which regulate the customer relationship and describe Izy's processing of personal data on behalf of the data controller. Izy also processes personal data for its own purposes, including to identify errors, improve and further develop the Service, and to compile statistics and analyses. Where relevant, data may be aggregated and anonymised.

The user may at any time discontinue use of the Service by sending an email to info@izy.no, or by ceasing to use the Service. The user may also choose to delete their user account. Deletion of a user account entails the deletion of the entire account, including the user's association with all buildings and other locations to which the account is linked. If the user has active orders, reservations or other pending arrangements registered in the account, these must be concluded before deletion of the user account can be carried out. Should assistance be required, the user is asked to contact the building administrator. The processing and deletion of personal data shall be carried out in accordance with the applicable privacy notice and applicable law. Izy may terminate or restrict access to all or part of the Service without prior notice and without liability.
Izy, its representatives or suppliers shall under no circumstances be liable for any direct or indirect loss, including loss of profit, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, or for any third-party claims arising from (i) your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service, (ii) the conduct of any third party or content provided through the Service, (iii) content obtained from the Service, or (iv) unauthorised access to, use of or alteration of transmissions or content, regardless of whether Izy has been advised of the possibility of such loss. Izy's aggregate liability in connection with the Service, breach of the Terms or negligence, shall be limited to NOK 10 000.
Use of the Service is at the user's own risk. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind beyond those required by mandatory Norwegian law. Izy, its subsidiaries, affiliates, licensors and suppliers do not warrant that
a) the Service will operate without interruption, securely or be available at any particular time or location;
b) any errors or defects will be corrected;
c) the Service is free from viruses or other harmful components; or
d) the results of using the Service will meet the user's requirements.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Norwegian law. Failure to enforce any right or provision under these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. Should any provision of these Terms be held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings between the parties in respect of the same subject matter.
Izy reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend or replace these Terms at any time. Where an amendment is material or entails a restriction of the user's rights, Izy shall give notice of such amendment no less than 14 days before the revised Terms take effect. If the user continues to use the Service following the effective date, the revised Terms shall be deemed accepted. If the user does not accept the new Terms, the user must discontinue use of the Service.
